Working Together to Find Solutions
Sometimes customers come to us knowing exactly what they need. Sometimes they just know what problem they are trying to solve. In either case, we work closely with our customers to find the right solutions. This collaborative approach reflects our core values and defines all of our relationships internally and externally.
NovoCarbon has developed a robust ecosystem of technology and processing partnerships we are able to leverage when working with customers. Whether you are looking for help on alternative coatings for graphite particles or seeking specific materials characterization and analysis capabilities, then we know who to call if it is something we cannot provide ourselves. We can help you find the right product, or work with you to develop a solution to your specifications.
Step 1: Source
NovoCarbon sources high quality graphite concentrate from our supply partners in Brazil. Our partners are committed to running their operations in an environmentally responsible manner and have established track records of a commitment to sustainability and strong community relations. “Green Graphite” means ensuring that there is integrity right through the supply chain. Across our seven supply partners, Novocarbon has access of up to 170,000 tons per annum (tpa) in supply.
Step 2: Process
Processing graphite in the United States offers NovoCarbon a competitive advantage by enabling out customers to increase domestic content on their products. We have built strong relationships with deeply experienced industry partners who bring a formidable array of capabilities, including (but not limited to):
- Shaping (Spheronization)
Whether your requirement is based on particle size distribution or minimizing particular impurities, we will work with our partners to find the right solution for you. Collaboration is the Key!
Step 3: Distribute
Novocarbon has established supply and demand streams, ready to be unlocked. We proudly facilitate the distribution of our domestically produced materials across the United States, and many parts of the world. Our distribution process is broken up into three stages:
- Stage 1: Introductory Call & Follow Up
- Stage 2: Samples Sent for Testing
- Stage 3: Qualification
The graphite sales cycle is long, upwards of 24 months. Novocarbon has already qualified their material specifications with several tier one manufacturers, putting the company years ahead of the competition.
